The initiative to protect the environment on Earth Day

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd every year, aiming to raise awareness and action for protecting the environment. Earth Day originated in 1970 when there was a global wave of environmental awareness, with more and more people starting to pay attention to issues such as environmental pollution, resource wastage, and loss of biodiversity, calling on governments and individuals to take action to protect the Earth. Therefore, the first Earth Day was officially held on April 22nd, 1970, marking the rise of the global environmental movement.

On this special day of Earth Day, we FOSHAN OVS issue the following initiatives and calls to remind everyone to protect the environment and care for the Earth:
1.Reduce plastic pollution: We FOSHAN OVS urge everyone to reduce the use of disposable plastic products such as shopping bags, straws, packaging, etc., promote waste sorting and recycling.
2.Conserve energy: We FOSHAN OVS advocate for the rational use of electricity and water resources, reduce energy waste, promote a low-carbon lifestyle and green modes of transportation such as walking, cycling, or using public transport.
3.Plant trees and forests: We FOSHAN OVS call on everyone to actively participate in tree planting activities, increase green coverage, improve air quality, and protect the ecological environment.
4.Promote sustainable development: We FOSHAN OVS promote sustainable lifestyles and production methods, advocate for a circular economy, achieve efficient use of resources, and environmentally friendly development.
5.Advocate for environmental education: We FOSHAN OVS advocate for strengthening environmental education and publicity, raising public awareness and knowledge of environmental protection, and cultivating people's habits of environmental conservation.
6.Oppose environmental destruction: We FOSHAN OVS oppose behaviors that harm the environment, resist deforestation, desertification, overexploitation of water resources, and other activities that damage ecosystems.

We hope to remind people that protecting the Earth and the environment is everyone's responsibility. We call on all sectors of society to actively participate in environmental protection activities, working together to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
